Insurance Types

Configure insurance options for hire.

Overview

Insurance Types define the insurance options available to customers - damage waiver, full cover, etc.


Creating Insurance Types

  1. Navigate to Manage > Insurance Types
  2. Click Add
  3. Enter:
    • Name
    • Description
    • Rate (fixed or percentage)
    • What's covered

Common Types

  • Standard: Basic cover included
  • Damage Waiver: Reduced liability
  • Full Cover: Comprehensive protection
  • None: Customer's own insurance

Using Insurance

When creating orders:

  • Select insurance type
  • Rate added to order
  • Terms included on contract
