Pre-Delivery Inspections

Inspect equipment before sending to customers.

Overview

Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) ensures equipment is safe and ready before going to customers. Document condition and confirm compliance.


Creating a PDI

  1. Navigate to Manage > Fleet PDI
  2. Click New PDI
  3. Select the fleet item
  4. Complete inspection checklist

Inspection Checklist

Standard items to check:

  • Visual condition
  • Safety features
  • Operational test
  • Fluid levels
  • Documentation present
  • Cleanliness

Recording Results

For each check item:

  • Pass: Meets standard
  • Fail: Needs attention
  • N/A: Not applicable

Add photos and notes for evidence.


PDI Status

| Status | Meaning | |--------|---------| | Pending | Awaiting inspection | | In Progress | Being inspected | | Completed | Inspection done | | Approved | Ready for hire | | Failed | Needs work before hire |


Failed Inspections

If equipment fails PDI:

  1. Document all failures
  2. Create maintenance request
  3. Re-inspect after repairs
  4. Only approve when safe
