Managing Customers

Create and manage customer records.

Overview

Customer management stores all information about your customers - contact details, addresses, payment terms, and history.


Viewing Customers

Navigate to Manage > Customer Records.

Statistics

  • Total customers
  • Active customers
  • On hold
  • New this month

Creating a Customer

  1. Click Add Customer
  2. Enter required details:
    • Company name
    • Account reference (auto or manual)
    • Primary contact
    • Email and phone
    • Address

Optional Details

  • Payment terms
  • Credit limit
  • VAT number
  • Special instructions

Customer Details

Each customer record includes:

  • Main Details: Name, reference, status
  • Contacts: People at the company
  • Addresses: Delivery and billing
  • Rates: Custom pricing
  • History: Orders and invoices

Customer Status

| Status | Meaning | |--------|---------| | Active | Can create orders | | On Hold | Blocked, needs review | | Inactive | No longer trading |


Actions

  • Edit: Update customer details
  • Add Contact: New contact person
  • View Rates: See/edit pricing
  • View History: Past orders
  • Put On Hold: Block new orders
